Q Mountain Search & Rescue
The
Basic Mountain Search and Rescue Course is not training for aspiring SAR teams,
but rather intended to give insights, theories, and principles about basic SAR
applications. One shall be able to
perform preliminary actions during mountain accidents while waiting for a more
technical help. The course includes
Safety Principles, Rescue Equipment, Characteristics of a Rescuer, Search
Management (Methods, Techniques, Tactics, etc.), Rescue Techniques (One Person
Rescue, Slope and High Angle Evacuation, Hauling and Lowering Techniques, etc.),
Helicopter Operations, etc.
